Yaktrax Pro Traction Cleats give great traction on both packed snow and ice, the two most hazardous surfaces to walk on in the winter. They are easy to put on and take off, so they can be carried in a pocket or in the car and used as needed. As a senior citizen who is not always sure of his footing, I will not leave the house in the winter without my Yaktraxs...they are great, and give me confidence and security on difficult surfaces.

This is our second pair of Yaktrax. We had to attach small bungee cords to our old pair as occasionally we would lose them in deep snow. We were thrilled these new ones have the velcro strap. One still has to be careful on black ice--very slippery--same as walking on a tile floor.

Have been very impressed with the performance on ice, but previous pair broke too soon, after one winter, in my opinion. I got the pro model this time hoping that they would be more durable.
